The Yes! Oppa Guest Guidelines provide some basic guidance to help Guests and Crew enjoy a comfortable and respectful Hangout together.

1. What is a Yes! Oppa Hangout?

Yes! Oppa is a Local Hangout / Social Experience service where travelers visiting Korea spend time with a local Crew member.

What matters most at Yes! Oppa is not a fixed sightseeing route or travel schedule — it's the time you spend with the Crew member you chose.

Talk with your Crew, walk around, eat something delicious, visit cafés, go shopping, take photos — enjoy Korea in a more natural, local way.

The experience Yes! Oppa wants to create is a Hangout where you feel,

“I had a great time in Korea with a local friend.”

This is not a service that follows a fixed sightseeing route

A Yes! Oppa Hangout is not about following a pre-planned sightseeing route.

The main purpose of a Yes! Oppa Hangout is not for your Crew to create and lead a fixed sightseeing route, or to provide expert commentary on the history and culture of the places you visit.

Instead, you talk with your Crew and decide together what you want to do and where you want to go that day.

Your Crew may suggest cafés, restaurants, neighborhoods, or shopping spots they love, and you're free to bring up any place or activity you want.

Guest + Crew → talk → share ideas → decide together → Hangout

This is what Yes! Oppa considers the most natural way to enjoy a Hangout.

2. Good to know before your Hangout

Before the Hangout, your Crew checks the interests and requests you've shared.

If there are foods you love, areas you want to see, shopping, cafés — let us know in advance. It helps your Crew get ready for the Hangout.

It's completely fine if you haven't decided anything in advance.

You can meet your Crew and decide together as you talk.

Feel free to ask for suggestions

Your Crew can suggest cafés, restaurants, shopping spots, neighborhoods, or activities they know and love from their own experience.

That said, Yes! Oppa is not a service that plans your entire trip or designs the best sightseeing route for you.

Where to go and what to do during the Hangout — please decide together as you talk with your Crew.

Travel bookings and purchases

Accommodation, flights, rental cars, transportation, admission tickets to attractions, show tickets, paid experiences — as a rule, Guests make travel-related bookings and purchases themselves.

Asking your Crew what they think of a place or activity is fine, but having your Crew book or purchase travel products on your behalf is not part of the basic Hangout service.

3. WhatsApp Group Chat

Once your booking is confirmed, a WhatsApp Group Chat with you, your Crew, and Yes! Oppa HQ is created.

The Group Chat is the official communication channel where you can say hello to your Crew, confirm the meeting spot, and talk about anything related to your Hangout.

If you have questions or anything you'd like to talk over with your Crew, feel free to bring it up in the Group Chat.

If you want to change your booking

The date, time, meeting spot, duration — if you want to change anything about your booking, let us know through the Group Chat.

Even if you and your Crew have talked it over and agreed, booking changes are only final once Yes! Oppa HQ has confirmed them.

This helps ensure that both you and your Crew have the same confirmed booking details.

4. Costs during the Hangout

As a rule, the Guest covers the costs that naturally come up while you and your Crew spend time together.

This includes expenses such as:

• Café drinks and refreshments
• Meals
• Transportation during the Hangout
• Admission fees for attractions and venues
• Shows and event tickets
• Experiences and other activity fees

If your Crew needs to pay in order to join you at a place or participate in an activity during the Hangout, you are also responsible for covering the Crew's related cost.

If costs are a concern, just say so

Since the Guest covers the costs, Crew members are instructed not to steer Guests toward unnecessarily expensive places or activities.

For restaurants or activities that cost a lot, your Crew will check with you first and decide together.

If your budget or the costs are a concern, feel free to tell your Crew.

A good Hangout doesn't require expensive places or activities.

5. Getting around during the Hangout

Public transportation or taxis are the standard way to get around during the Hangout.

Where to go next is something you and your Crew can decide together as you talk.

6. Drinking and each other's boundaries

Having drinks together is fine

Drinking with your Crew during the Hangout is allowed.

That said, so that both you and your Crew can keep enjoying the Hangout safely, please avoid drinking too much.

Crew members are likewise instructed not to drink to excess and to pace themselves.

Please respect each other's culture and personal boundaries

You and your Crew may have different cultures, lifestyles, and personal boundaries.

What feels natural in your culture may feel uncomfortable to the other person.

Please respect each other's culture and personal boundaries, and avoid behavior that makes the other person uncomfortable or crosses the line.

Physical contact between Guests and Crew is not allowed

Yes! Oppa Hangouts do not allow intentional physical contact between Guests and Crew.

This standard applies equally to both Guests and Crew.

This rule applies even if the contact is intended as a friendly gesture or the Hangout feels friendly and comfortable.

It also does not change when alcohol is involved.

If your Crew attempts physical contact, or any other situation makes you uncomfortable, tell HQ through the WhatsApp Group Chat.

7. For a safe Hangout

Yes! Oppa cares about both Guests and Crew spending their time comfortably and safely.

Please respect each other and enjoy the Hangout.

In situations like the following, it may be hard to continue the Hangout normally.

• Drinking so much that a normal Hangout becomes difficult
• Repeated unwanted physical contact
• Abusive language, threatening or aggressive behavior
• Demanding illegal activity or asking the other to join it
• Any other situation that could put the Guest's or Crew's safety at risk

In serious situations, the Hangout may be ended early for safety reasons.

This standard applies not only to Guests but equally to Crew.

If your Crew's behavior or any other situation during the Hangout makes you uncomfortable or raises a safety concern, you don't have to handle it alone.

Tell Yes! Oppa HQ through the WhatsApp Group Chat.

If there is immediate danger, move to a safe place and prioritize your safety.

8. Hangout Times and Late Arrivals

A Hangout runs on the booked start and end times.

Please give yourself enough travel time to meet your Crew at the agreed time.

If you think you'll be late, let your Crew and HQ know through the WhatsApp Group Chat as soon as possible.

If the Guest is late

Even if you arrive later than the booked start time, the Hangout's end time is not extended.

For example, for a Hangout booked from 2 PM to 6 PM, if you arrive at 2:30 PM the Hangout still ends at 6 PM.

So please try to arrive at the booked time.

If the Crew is late

If the Hangout starts late for reasons on the Crew's side, we will make sure you receive the full Hangout time you booked.

Depending on the situation the time may be extended, or if the Crew can't extend it themselves, HQ will check the situation with you and make the needed adjustments.

If we can't reach you at the meeting time

If the booked time arrives and you can't be reached, your Crew will contact you through the WhatsApp Group Chat.

If you can't be reached for 30 minutes or more, HQ may review the situation and decide whether the Hangout goes ahead.

Even if we reach you afterwards and the Hangout starts, the originally booked end time does not change.

9. Photos

If there's a great moment or spot during the Hangout, your Crew may be the first to offer to take photos for you.

If you'd like photos, feel free to ask your Crew.

Your Crew will be happy to help as best they can.

That said, a Yes! Oppa Hangout is not a professional photography service.

If you'd rather not have photos taken, just say so.

No photos are taken if you don't want them.

10. Ending the Hangout and extending time

A Hangout runs on the time you booked and wraps up at the booked end time.

If you want to extend the Hangout

If you'd like to spend more time with your Crew, first ask your Crew if they're available to extend the Hangout.

If you both agree to extend, send an official extension request to Yes! Oppa HQ through the WhatsApp Group Chat.

HQ will provide instructions for the additional time and payment. Once the extension is officially confirmed, you can continue the Hangout.

Even if you and your Crew both agree, you may not exchange additional payment privately or extend the Hangout outside of Yes! Oppa.

Until the extension is officially confirmed, the original booked end time still applies.

Check with Crew → Both agree → Request through HQ → Payment → Extension confirmed

11. Questions and getting help

If you have questions before or during your Hangout, or find yourself needing help, feel free to reach out to Yes! Oppa HQ.

Bookings, time changes, costs, communication with your Crew, or anything that comes up during the Hangout — if you're unsure what to do, you don't have to solve it alone.

For anything related to an active booking, tell HQ through the WhatsApp Group Chat.

Yes! Oppa HQ will help clarify the situation and coordinate with you and your Crew.

12. Cancellations and refunds
