Seoul, walked with someone who knows it.
If you found us by searching for an 'oppa rental' or how to 'rent an oppa' in Seoul, here is what that phrase actually means with us. You book time with a local crew member who plans a route through their own city and walks it with you. A guide, a translator, the friend who knows which building has the unmarked third-floor bar. Nothing more complicated than that.
What you actually get
Every course starts with a crew member who knows their neighborhood the way you know yours. They pick the spots, decide the order, and time the day so it lands right: the bakery before it sells out, the bar after dark when the third floor makes sense. You walk it together. You get the route, the context behind it, and someone to talk to the whole way.
Why 'oppa'
The 'oppa' in our name is the Korean word for an older brother, and that is the energy of the whole service: someone a little ahead of you who shows you around, orders the right thing, and makes sure you do not get lost. The courses run through the city's everyday places: markets, galleries, alleys, bakeries, bars.
How a course works
Most courses cover half a day and two stops, one for daylight and one for after dark, with a walk between them that is part of the point. Each route below was planned by our crew, with the reasoning written out: why this order, why this hour, what to look for on the way. Read a few and you will see exactly what walking with us feels like.

FAQ
- Is this a dating service?
- No. Yes! Oppa is a local guide service. You spend the day with a crew member who plans and walks a route with you, through public places. Think local friend, not date.
- Do I need to speak Korean?
- No. Crew members speak English, and translating menus, signs, and conversations is part of what they do. That is half the value of walking with a local.
- How do I book?
- Through the chat on yesoppa.com. Tell the crew when you will be in Seoul and what kind of day you want, and they will plan the route from there.
